My surface patterns play on the synergy between fine art and graphic design.
I use areas of my paintings to create patterns. As the patterns unfold,
I often discover new opportunities to refine them further.

Like painting, pattern creation is an artistic pursuit, inspired by nature
and by the decorative papers and textiles I collect in my travels.
